Manchested united, life after Ronaldo.
He finally left. He did it. It was long said in the press he would move to Madrid, apparently because of his mum. It then died down. Then, it was said that he registered the "CR9". Then that too died down. Then, TA-DA! United accept a 80 million fee for him. So it's finally happened eh. There's no argument about whether he's worth that much. The Madrid shop was sold out after he was shown off to 80 thousand fans. They'll recoup alot of money from merchandise. And Ronaldo, whether you hate him, or love him, WILL score goals, and that is why he cost so much. United signed Valencia to replace Ronaldo. Is he the right man? Well, he won't score as many goals as Ronaldo, stats prove that, without a doubt. But in Valencia, United have a winger, and a winger who will actually stay on the wing instead of cutting in and becoming a striker. He's good, and he's proved that at Wigan. But no, he is not as Ronaldo. So to score goals, who do they turn to? Free striker, Owen. Put the ball to Owen's feet, and he will score. He never scored at Newcastle because the service he got, was pretty much crap. At united, he'll get much better service and hopefully, will score goals. United are good. No, in fact, they're great. But they're not as good as Barcelona, as proved in the Champions League final. Without Ronaldo, they are weaker. They've lost the man, who can make something out of nothing. Someone, when in the right mood, will wreak havok in any defence. But they've also got rid of the one man who could destroy the atmosphere in the dressing room, as he showed his templementral side towards the end of the season when he was subbed off. A grown man acting like a kid. Sir Alex realised that, and sold him, and rightfully so. I hope United spend the money on players instead of repaying debts. But I guess football is a business after all.
